Blue behind branches

I have blipped this tree before( and wrote a poem for it as well) and thought of it this snowy morning. The gray snow clouds were finishing their dusting and dumping of flurries when I approached it. Bands of blue and cream were filling in some color as the sky worked on the hues of blue we have around us now. It was so very cold. I took some other local shots for Historical Society and then hurried home to warm my fingers and toes.

For the Record,
This day came in with snow and cold. The weather folks promise the cold will ease a bit. The snow didn't amount to much, just a lovely clean frosting here, but more accumulation on Cape Cod.

All hands improving...but I do have a slight sinus headache still.
