We're Hanging In There ....

..... well actually the tree surgeon is.

After the mini tornado that hit us at 5.45pm on Saturday afternoon, this was the sight that greeted us this morning. Thankfully the huge 60ft tree that fell missed the stables where 4 horses were sheltering and they were unhurt. Two further trees were unfortunately damaged and are also having to be taken down but thankfully no one was hurt.

So hubby and I returned last night from our quick trip to Mallorca and .... yes, we've seen another property which is, in fact, better than the first. Now our solicitor is negotiating her way around Spanish conveyancing for the second time. We're not raising our hopes but are keeping everything crossed that, this time, everything works out ok.

Thank you all for getting Peter Stringfellow onto Spotlight. I contacted his personal assistant Pat Jay this morning and forwarded her the link to yesterday's entry on blipfoto. She assures me she's going to show it to him tomorrow when she sees him. I'm sure he'll be delighted to read all of your lovely comments.
