Another Winter Tree ....

... on another grey, raw day, making for a rather chilly round of golf this morning. This shapely specimen is between the 5th tee and 7th green and has turned out far more colourful than yesterday's offering.

I had a particularly good round today - in danger of having my provisional handicap cut still further, as well as being nicknamed The Bandit by my playing partners!

We found out today that the chap who had a heart attack on the course last week is now off the life support machine but is still in a critical condition; they fear he may have suffered some brain damage, as his heart had stopped for quite a long time before they were able to bring him back. Sobering news.
