Waiting For Spring

No problem getting a seat by Lake Massabesic today. This is the main drinking water source for the city of Manchester and surrounding small towns, about 159,000 people. There are boat ramps, hiking trails, bicycle trails but no swimming. The surface area of the lake is 2500 acres, equivalent to about 10 km2. There are loons, hawks, deer, foxes, but no one was around today. In case you were wondering, the name means "the place of much water".
