Little Lantern

Woke to fine light rain turning the garden into a sea of lushness and brightness while the sky was dull. Grey clouds made way for blue sky while tiny droplets glistened in the sunlight. As the sun moved round it lit the dying seed heads of my poppies turning them into little lanterns.

A quiet day, bit of a wander with Daughter E and a lovely long chat on the phone to my cousin in the North Island. A bit of research into washing machines, front loaders versus top loaders, prices and efficiency, the next thing that needs to be replaced - the sooner the better.

Must fly, time to prepare tea - Spaghetti Bolognaise, quick and easy with a glass of red.

Have a great weekend all :)
