The Year of the Horse

Chinese New Year was celebrated today in Den Haag and it was celebrated by many down town The City and in its China Town.
I've filled a card with captures and just looked into the initial 200 from which I choose this ~ it strikes me like a religious Orthodox ceremony..... there's so much more alike than different between us peoples:)

Met one of the friends from my kids who's a photographer and met an old classmate from way back in our primary years and met my youngest who enjoyed the subject for trying his new camera ~ all in all a fantastic long day and thus a nice start of the New Year!
Next month March 21st is Newroz the Irani & Kurdi & Afghani NY:)
