Pretzel mania

Someone left a big tub of pretzels in work. I did my PhD partly in collaboration with a Fachhochschule in Germany and when I was there I would but a proper pretzel in the way in every morning. They were covered in so much salt you could feel yourself dessicating as you ate it. Bread and massive salt intake for breakfast - what could go wrong?
