Up in the Glen for Halloween, with some wonderful family.

After last year's blip lanterns, I took two Butternut squashes up with me for risotto and of course lantern fun.
Catriona and Diane managed to create these wee Characters. They were wonderful and so were the lanterns.

A lot of work was done, including the old kitchen being ripped out after an early, (well mid morning) visit from Brian, the plumber to connect isolation valves on the sink pipes. Brother A, decided, they should be at floor level and the sink should come right out. It did.
Pity we were having a dinner party at night!!!!!!!!
