Appropriate Birthday Eatings

Today was my 22nd Birthday (said in the manner of Bilbo Baggins ).

Nothing particularly special, still had to go to B'ham Uni, still had to cook dinner, but it was an ok day. Made these lemon and poppyseed cupcakes to take into the lab and feed people, they went down well, even if I did slightly overdo the poppyseed.

Spent the evening drinking wine (courtesy of Anand and his 15 bottles of free wine, courtesy of some ridiculous coupon and discount combination) and reading a new book (courtesy of Louise). Several more card arrived in the post (I love getting cards, even if it is a bit of a waste of paper).
