A crack in the sky

Tipyn bach mwy o law heddiw ond doedd hi ddim yn stopio fi i gwrdd â Suzanne - y Tiwtor Cymraeg - a dysgwyr eraill Ces i sgwrs ddiddorol (yn Gymraeg) gyda dyn o Wlad Thai sy'n dysgu Cymraeg. Ro'n i wedi meddwl bod Cymraeg yn fwy syml na Saesneg, felly gofynnais i iddo fe. Cadarnheuodd dyna beth yw ei brofiad. Mae'r Gymraeg yn fwy rheolaidd na Saesneg a dydy'r llythrennau ddim yn newid ei sŵn mor aml.

A bit more rain today but it didn't stop me meeting with Suzanne - the Welsh Tutor - and other learners. I had an interesting conversation (in Welsh) with a man from Thailand who is learning Welsh. I had been thinking that Welsh is simpler than English, so I asked him. He confirmed that it was his experience. Welsh is more regular than English and the letters don't change their sound so often.
