Caroline was still feeling ill, so Max and I woke early again hike the peaks directly shadowing the medina.

Aside from more amazing views, we were greeted by a local who invited us into his remote mountain-side home for some sweet Moroccan tea. He even gave us some of his "local produce" (of which he had kilograms) for free. For free!

I was surprised, as almost every Moroccan up until now was always hassling us to make some sort of sale. It must be something to do with city folk.

We left with our local produce, and were offered even more local produce from some friendly young men, who appeared to have commandeered a taxi for a trip into the mountains.
