Wide And Underwater

Both hippo and my lens are wide, luckily I'm not underwater but she is....hence the reflection above.

I messed up on the white balance so much that b&w was the only way to go here. I like what looks like a splash on the left, it kind of confuses things along with all that straw (dung) floating about.

Sadly a giraffe was put down this morning due to the possibility of in-breeding. The lions and tigers will be getting a little variety in their diet for a while. As will some of the staff, unnamed sources suggested (.....they allegedly bbq'd some beavers last year).
