Faramanagh

It's the first time I've got to Faramanagh since all the storms began, it's one of my favourite spots on the south side of the peninsula. The winds of last night had died down but the showers were heavy and frequent. I managed a walk along the shingle shore and up to the ruins of the Bardic School, from here one could see the next shower coming, so it was a hasty retreat to the car, just in time! The beach used to have an area of soft grass between it and the lake, great for camping but that's disappeared under a mass of pebbles thrown up in the gales.
