Santillana del Mar

There have been very bad weather in Cantabria today, I spent the whole day painting two rooms at home, one in green and the other in blue. I could not go outside to take a blip so I decided to take a blip of a picture we have in the dining room. It is the townhall square in Santillana del Mar, a little village from the Middle Age. It is well known because of its beauty.

This picture was drawn by the father of a good friend, and he gave it to us as a wedding present.

Hoy ha hecho mal tiempo en Cantabria. Me pasé todo el día pintando dos habitaciones de casa, una en verde y la otra en azul. No pude salir a hacer fotos así que decidí sacar una foto a un cuadro que tenemos en el salón. En el cuadro se puede ver la plaza del ayuntamiento de Santillana del Mar, un pequeño pueblo de la Edad Media, bien conocido por su belleza.

Este cuadro lo pintó el padre de una buena amiga, y nos lo regaló por nuestra boda.
