Gales

Not a day for considered photography, wet and windy all day and now the gales have started in earnest. It's howling down the chimney as I type this and can you feel the wind whipping along the platform at Victoria station as I waited for my train? There were branches down and bins blown over on the way home so there is bound to be quite a bit of damage around. I hope the house stands up to the onslaught and the power stays on (about 5,000 homes in Lancs have lost it so far). Stay safe everyone.
