New job!

After 6 months of unemployment – thanks to redundancy – I'm absolutely thrilled to hear today that my application and interview with Mimas, at the University of Manchester, was successful and I shall be starting in my new role with them very soon.

I'll be working in community engagement with the FE & Skills sector as part of a Jisc project that is looking at opening up easier routes to content and resources for teaching staff.

Obviously I'm relieved to be getting back into work after these months (I need to pay the mortgage) but I'm also over the moon at the prospect of working with Mimas.
