Napier's 50th anniversary

I teach part-time at Edinburgh Napier University, which is celebrating its 50th anniversary this year as the first iteration of the current institution started back in 1964. At the heart of the Merchiston campus where I work stands John Napier's tower, which is several centuries old. [Napier devised logarithms, which I vaguely recall from maths at school.] Not sure how well the current campus wraps around the old stone building, but this is what it looks like...
