Happy as a pig in........

Today was lovely; cold, but bright and sunny, with no wind. Given that the forecast is for more storms from tomorrow and on over the weekend, it made sense to go out today so we went over to Wimpole Hall near Cambridge, a National Trust house. The house was closed but the gardens were open, and they also have a 'Home Farm' which is open to the public. At least, we thought it was. After a good look round at the goats, Shetland ponies, shire horse, cows and pigs, we were spotted and told it wasn't open to the public until the weekend! Lots and lots of piglets, and judging by the notices above the sows, 'Lester' has been a very busy boy this year. Lucky Lester.
