Silence is Golden

We have three quite wonderful grandchildren who, naturally enough, can get very excited, boisterous (and noisy) during play. The laughing, screaming, thumping, bumping, tumbling and squealing had probably gone on for maybe ten minutes but the grown ups were having to speak very loudly in order to hear themselves. A calming influence was called for.

The children had never seen 3D television before. "Can we watch for a while Grandad?" As if by magic, except for the volume of the soundtrack (controlled by my trusty remote) the kids sat attentively as if an "off" switch had been activated. Bless 'em.
