if it's Impatiens, it must be almost winter

Mr. and I went to an RV show up at the fairgrounds for a while this morning. On our way home, we stopped at this plant nursery/ fresh produce market. Our season for local fresh vegetables is just starting, and we picked up several things that were cheaper than in the grocery store.
they also had a big selection of landscape plants off to the side. These impatiens are only sold after our weather cools off, but they still require a lot of water. Environmental groups try to discourage plants that need a lot of irrigating here, but most people like to stick in at least a few for color, and big hotels, condos, etc. usually use a lot.
