Top of the World To You!

I love this view (a ten minute walk from our house) which shows step upon step of now unused terraces and, if you look closely, there are four or five cabanes scattered along them.

edit: Maybe the reason that steep terraces like this are no longer cultivated is that it's too difficult to use a tractor on them.

The signpost relates to a local cycle track along the lanes, and top right you can see the snow on the Pyrenees.
