Stormy weather......

My poor garden took a real hammering last night during the storm and it looked this morning as if a tank had been through it! So we and the nextdoor neighbours set to work making it all safe in that stoical 'We're British....' sort of way and helped with each others devastatation. We have no fencing or gates and have renamed the area a 'community garden'. Hedging is very tempting even if it needs trimming periodically!
It's upsetting but nothing compared to so many poor folk across the country. I actually didn't want to open our bedroom curtains this morning for fear of what I might find.....
