BlipaEwan 71...

This is my monthly track of my children as they grow to see how they change as time goes by. I take the same photo in the same place each 1st and 15th of each month along with a wee diary of what has happened and how life has progressed for each of them. Bethany on the 1st and Ewan on the 15th. It is quite remarkable and is accentuated by the 1 year ago thumbnail down in the bottom right.

It was Ewan's birthday last month but we had his party this month, the following weekend. We had it at the rugby club which worked out brilliantly. He's a member of the club so they gave us it very cheap and it was perfectly easy to keep it all under control and easy to tidy. He had a Star Wars themed party. We made a pinata in the shape of a Death Star, pin the light saber on the jedi, pass the stolen death star plans, you get the idea.

Sticking with the Star Wars theme, Ewan had a homework project this month which Bethany had last year. He (we) had to build a 3D island the size of an A4 sheet of paper. He decide to make a Darth vader island. We made some eyes and Vader-esq breather, then papier mached the island shape. The eyes became volcanoes and the helmet was the mountains.

I was up snowboarding the other day but my equipment hasn't made it safely to the loft yet so Ewan was striking a pose in it.
