Stairs of Portland

I purchased Portland Stairs Book several years ago. The idea was to meet with friends and climb stairs. Many of the stairs were built before everyone had cars. My mother always mentions the stairs she climbed located on Macadam Ave which took you up to the top of Corbett street. Perhaps this is why she will be celebrating her 99th birthday this year --stairs.
This is a condo-apartment newly built down on the South Waterfront and there are stairs.
