Are you looking at me?

Soggy start to the week, so I've opted for a bird hide shot. Plenty of birds on the feeders but this was one of the better ones. Not wonderfully sharp but my lens kept getting water spotted.

Managed to walk around the whole of the lake. The western shore just looks completely devastated after the removal of great swathes of rhodedendron. It'll take some time for the woodland to recover. It has completely changed the feel and look of that side of the lake.

Birds spotted:

Geese - Canada & greylag
Mute Swans - 5 adults & 3 juvenile
Ducks - mallard, tufted and my one emerald green who's been befriended by the mallards.
Little egret - just the one
Herons - about 12
Cormorants - 3/4
Great crested grebes
Seagulls - black headed
Coots
Moorhens
Robins
Blackbird
Crows
Jackdaws
Magpie
Wood pigeons
Great Spotted Woodpecker - only 1
Song Thrush - 1
Tits - long-tailed, great, blue & coal
Nuthatch
