Red Dead nettle

Confined to the house today with the naughty baby basset, while Mr U&L helped run the temporary Model railway exhibition in one of the local (empty) town shops. I wandered round the garden this afternoon, enjoying the very early spring signs, and noticed this tiny little red dead nettle (Lamium purpurreum) in flower.
I quite like having weeds in our garden, especially at this time of year when not a lot else is brave enough to grow let alone burst forth!
Charlii and Willow are due back tomorrow lunchtime, so another trip tp Heathrow. Charlii says it has snowed non stop in Minneapolis since she got there, so I hope they don't get delayed!
