Hardengreen Bridge

At the weekend, as part of the Borders Railway, a section of a new bridge was installed over a busy roundabout. Naturally, we had to see the result.

According to the report, 'the bridge, which will span 71.5m once completed, required a 1,200 tonne crane to hoist its four 107 tonne beams into place'.
