Leftovers

I cooked a winter warmer pasta dish last night, using a recipe I'd devised for the cook book I published last year. Here's what was left. (Though needless to say, that's a new bottle of wine as there was none of that left over).

The recipe is simplicity itself, and very tasty. Here it is.

Fry one thinly sliced onion and some garlic in olive oil with 2 thinly sliced parsnips for about 10 minutes, adding some cherry tomatoes, chilli flakes, salt and fresh thyme after about 7 minutes. Meanwhile, roast some pinenuts, and cook the linguine. Microwave some slices of black pudding - yes, yummy! - break into pieces then add with the other ingredients to the cooked pasta.

I wonder if anybody will try it?!
