Fun with DOF

Another busy day doing little things. After diner had a meeting for village disaster planning, it's mostly common sense but if we don't do it no one else will.

Today's blip are some of the small hexagobular internal (Torx T8) bolts used to hold the hard disk together that I recently dismantled. I tried a few shots but found that at F/32 there was too much going on, so I made the aperture larger until I got just the right amount of depth of field I wanted. The bolts are arranged in a line on a mirror spaced at about a 5 mm interval and angled such that only the middle one is in focus.

Enjoy.
