Thunder

Went to the lunchtime organ recital at the Anglican Cathedral today - first time in a long time. The 86 years young Casavant pipe organ never disappoints. I have Blipped the neo-Gothic architecture of the Cathedral before. The soaring lines and immense columns are wondrous to behold (and a challenge to photograph). Throw in the music of Bach and other masters of the pipe organ (including lighter fare) and one could easily spend hours there.

Shot with the in-camera "Pop Art" filter and then slightly desaturated and vignetted in Snapseed. Unfortunately the light fixture is hung right alongside the pipes and is difficult to avoid.

Alternate title: "Set the Controls for the Heart of the Sun"
