Thursday 12 November 2009: Remember 2001
I was taken by the iPhone's similarity to the monolith in "2001: a space odyssey". I don't have an iPhone (I like my Android - even though there is no Blip App yet), but my team colleagues at work all have them, and to be honest it was when I saw them standing around their iMonoliths that I got the idea for the blip.
In the movie I realise that they are cave people (sic) but to be fair, when I see iPhone users standing around and talking, it's the chimps that spring to mind ;-)
