Annie's In Oregon

In Training

When I look at you, I can see me
And the sweet little old ladies
We study to be

We'll practice our sparkle
And our 'how do you do?'
Our 'Do unto others
As you'd have them
Do unto you'

They say when we're older, the time will go fast
No moments to waste
On things that won't last

So here we are, sister
Investing a plenty
Seven loaves
And two fishes
Perhaps become twenty

With me in your corner, and you on my side
We'll engage our shuffle
One we've already tried

For now, we're in training
We must wait
And see
What kind of little old ladies
We'll turn out to be
