Friday 13 November 2009: Ibrox

I spent most of today at a funeral. Sad occasion.

After the service we were all invited to lunch at Ibrox Stadium the home of Glasgow Rangers football club.

I don't really eat much at that time of the day but I have to say the food, the service and the surroundings were first class.

This week it was announced that the football club have massive debts, probably around £30 million. It was rumoured that after the meal they would be coming round with a bucket to take a collection.

I left early, just in case!
