My first French plait

(Or "Elsa plait" as we're calling it in this family).

As someone who's had long hair her whole life, I am very confident at plaiting my own hair, and have even mastered French plaiting it myself. But whilst I can do simple plaits with my daughter's hair I have held off trying anything more complicated because there usually isn't the time to experiment in the mornings before school.

However, it's half term which means we have more time in the mornings than usual. And I have been promising my daughter I would try to do a "fancy " plait like the hairdresser does for her. So this morning I attempted my first French plait.

It came out alright, didn't it? :) I may try again tomorrow.
