Wood carving...

Went into Ipswich today for a bit of a mooch around in the hope of finding a couple of christmas presents. I know there are still quite a few shopping days left but I only have three weekends left to sort out pressies for my mum, sisters and nieces in time for my trek up to Manchester the first week of December! No success on the pressie front today, inspiration was a bit lacking today.

Managed to dodge most of the rain, which when it did fall seemed to come down in lumps!, but just had to stop to take this picture. This detailed wood carving is on one of the older properties in the town, which is now occupied by Lakeland Plastics! They really took a pride in building property in the middle ages, the timber buildings that go up today are very plain in comparison.
