V is for VILLA

Went to the match this afternoon. Newcastle were at home to Aston Villa ( or Aston Vanilla as I like to call them ). As the Forum Challenge letter today is V a blip of the Villa team before kick off certainly fits the fill. In this shot the player on the right jumping in the air is Christian Benteke. Fans of Villa include Tom Hanks, David Cameron and Prince William. I doubt if any of them were at St James Park today.

The match was heading for a 0 - 0 draw but in the 2nd minute of extra time Newcastle scored a last gasp winner. The goalscorer was Loïc Rémy - who can just be seen on the left of my shot. So pleased Newcastle have won a match at home at last - and also kept a clean sheet.
