Sick girl

Its official - Bella has Scarlet Fever.

She became unwell on Thursday and we had to call the doctor this morning.

Although we live in an extremely remote area the local GP was at the house within 30 minutes of the non emergency call - she then made a tentative diagnosis, went back to her surgery, made up the prescription, consulted with a colleague, came back and confirmed it was Scarlet Fever.

Beryl has only seen one case in all her years nursing and the doctor had never seen a case


When we apologised for dragging her out on a Saturday morning she simply said it was what she was here for.

What an amazing service.

Meanwhile Miss B is staying cosy.
