I spent a fun evening in Galveston, Texas - walking on the Sea Wall, eating a Mosquitp Cafe, and visiting La King's where they make home-made taffy right before your eyes and then the taffy guy throws fresh, warm pieces of taffy to you - he was making cherry in the picture.
