...............and Golden Sand

We spent a pleasant afternoon walking along the beginning of the coastal track and returning by the shoreline.

This photo was taken looking towards Marahau and the start of the Abel Tasman Track.

MARAHAU & ABEL TASMAN NATIONAL PARK (New Zealand)

- Marahau Beach is a small settlement – the gateway to the Tasman Region’s stunning Abel Tasman National Park.

- The park was founded in 1942. It is one of New Zealand's smallest national parks and named for the Dutch explorer, Abel Tasman.

- Administered by the Department of Conservation, its bright golden beaches, turquoise waters, rocky headlands and hiking tracks make it an extremely popular destination for locals and visitors.

Enjoy these photos taken this afternoon too.
