Suffolk SS100

Neil takes advantage of a beautiful day and gives his SS100 a wash and polish. I did point out that for £6 you can get a Polish polish in Bourne, but he much prefers to do it himself.

Neil’s Suffolk SS100 is a replica of the original 1938 SS100 made by “SS Cars Ltd of Coventry”, using a Jaguar XJ6 ‘donor car’.

After the war the letters "SS" had certain connotations so William Lions (now Sir) renamed the company “Jaguar”.
