Friday 20 November 2009: The Village People?
Belting out Y.M.C.A. in Glasgow today ............ all in aid of Children In Need.
It cost me quite a bit as I took several photographs of them but it was all in a good cause. I don't suppose anyone could recommend a cure to get that damned song out my head?
Footnote: Just over a month ago I blipped this statue which is in a village close to me commemorating the Auchengeich Colliery tragedy which claimed the lives of 47 men in September 1959. In the early hours of yesterday morning it was stolen. This is like grave robbing and the local community are outraged. I mention it here just in case anyone of the Blip community comes across information which could lead to its recovery. Thanks.
