Friday 20 November 2009: Power Surfer
Today the sun came out and the wind got up. So inspired by the recent announcement of unstaged I went out to look for some shots to the theme of the first competition, 'Scotland at Play' (yes I know it doesn't actually start for a few days yet!).
Pretty much without fail there are some crazy kite surfers down at Longniddry Bents beach whenever this sort of weather appears.
I got so absorbed in taking shots I failed to notice the tide coming in behind me. So I took off my shoes and socks and had a nice bracing paddle back to the shore through the refreshing cold sea water....really cleared my head for an afternoon back at the desk.
