"Golden Gate"

Couldn't resist the reference to the recent holiday.

Up early and determined to capture a sunrise, especially as they are now well before 7 am. Didn't have a lot of time so chose a local area I have visited many times but this time resisted putting one of my favourite trees into the scene.

Technical: A straight shot, using a 0.9 ND Grad to control the sky exposure. After that I just tried a new filter in Nik Color Efex - Tonal Contrast.
