The Good Samaritan

First day working at a new hospital today. After the usually lengthy induction, I went for a coffee. Had my order taken but when I got to the till I found, to my horror, that I had lost my purse! The barista looked unimpressed with my coffee ready in her hand and the queue expanding behind me seemed to be losing patience as I emptied the extensive contents of my handbag out onto the floor in a panic. My cheeks were burning with embarrassment when a total stranger stepped forward and paid for my order! Very thankful to this kind stranger!
