Discovery

I was amazed to discover this tiny Narcissus assoanus - rush-leaf jonquil - waving in the breeze on the garrigue just above the village. There's quite a colony of them, but I've never noticed them before. And I'm sure they're early, like everything else after our mild winter - my book says they start to flower in March. No, I didn't pick any for St David's Day (1st March) - I have others in the garden for that.
