Hilfield Park Reservoir

Our first visit here and we chose to wander all the way round the 3km circuit. It was quite amazing that wherever we viewed the Black-necked Grebes from they always appeared to be close to the faraway bank. How do they do that? Probably because you can fit a rather large expanse of water within a 3km loop. Fortunately though one bird did come fairly close to give RCB his Blip of the day.
