Different day from the anticipated one!

Packed the car for our trip It starts at Gartnavel hospital where Eoghan's mum asked me to go with her for an appointment. All good news. Yah! Now sitting on the Gourock -Dunoon Ferry. It's flat calm on the firth of Clyde but the mist is so low we cant see any land ahead. It's extraordinary. On ferry cos the Rest and be Thankful is once again closed. This time with two landslides. A sixty mile detour didn't seem a good idea. We will stop at the oyster bar for a late lunch and then full speed to Castle Sween. We've just turned on the sat nav on the phone and it's showing us exactly where we are on the sea. I still find these things amazing! Land is just beginning to show through the haze so we will be off soon. The two dogs -Dileas and hyper cocker Fern - are behaving superbly. We'll take them for a forest walk in wee while.
