Literary Soul Mates?

Dilemma! Today is World Book Day so I decided to blip a picture of my favourite Jane Austen novels, then, Google tells me it's 208 years ago today that Elizabeth Barrett Browning (one of my favourite poets) was born.
I wonder if they would have been friends in another life? Elizabeth Barrett Browning was 11 when Jane died. I'd like to think they'd have been good friends.
