The Parthenon

Final day of the conference in Athens today so once it ended I walked along the main road from the conference centre and got on the subway system and went to the Acropolis. As I'd been round the new Acropolis museum yesterday I bypassed it and headed for the hill itself.

Lots of interesting stuff on the way up including; an amphitheatre, temple, houses and a bronze foundry. Once at the top the view of Athens was great although it was a bit blustery at the Parthenon.

I took a lot of pictures of various things including the view of Athens itself, but I decided to choose this picture of the Parthenon to blip.
