A postcard from Wimbledon Village

Lovely afternoon so went for a stroll around Wimbledon Village with daughter no. 2 (Rebecca).

Lots of people on the common, riding horses and sitting outside cafés enjoying the spring sunshine.
We also stopped for a latte and I had a cheeky warm waffle while Rebecca had a scone with cream and jam, and a blooming big scone it was too!! Next pic was on the way back through the village looking up at the clock tower. Then a lovely display of fruit and nuts outside a wonderful 'posh' deli/supermarket, and the 'dog parking ' was also outside this shop.

A rather pleasant afternoon...... Now back to the washing!!
